Propeller Clock Video Clips. Duration : 1.03 Mins.
ECE471 Embedded Systems final project. Made on a very restricted budget. 2000 rpm computer fan mounted on a wooden stand. Powered using a PIC18F2610, using a 25MHz external oscillator. A hall effect sensor is used to maintain a correct vision of the clock no matter how fast it is spinning. 9 LEDs make up the clock 1 green for the border and 8 red for the hour, minute, and second hands. 4 hash marks at 3, 6, 9 and 12. A slip ring is used to carry the charge through the propeller and 2 470uF capacitors to keep the charge constant.
